Welcome back, students and faculty!

I am hoping we could use this blog to share the books we read and love this year. Please feel free to create an entry.

08:22 am - Postmodern MLA
It's easy for librarians to take citation more seriously than the rest of the universe. This link arrived in my email box yesterday and reminded me that even postmodern bibliographers might consider lightening up. Let me know what you think: http://www.pmla.org/altsource.html

05:55 pm - First time
It's my first voyage into blogspace! Please welcome me.

I am the librarian at Springfield Township High School (PA)and the techlife@school columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer. I write and speak about young adults and research and the thoughtful use of technology. You are likely to find me in person at conferences, anything to do with ALA, AASL, YALSA, and ISTE. You are likely to see my work in Classroom Connect, VOYA, Learning and Leading with Technology, and School Library Journal. These days I am keeping busy pursuing a doctoral degree in Information Science at the University of North Texas.
